The Heavens Declare His Righteousness, and All the People See His Glory.

Psalm 97:6
When you think of a sunrise, a sunset, a snow-capped mountain, a flowing river, an ocean wave, a shooting star, your favorite animal, a majestic oak, or a budding fruit tree, do you think of its Creator? A couple years ago, Lori and I were driving home from an early morning hospital visit. Traveling back to Georgetown over the Ravenel Bridge, I like to take the “scenic” route and go through the Old Town of Mt. Pleasant over to Sullivan’s Island and then the Isle of Palms. The marsh is always beautiful no matter the season, and the ocean inlet is peaceful. Quietly driving along, we noticed several cars slowing and pulling off the road. Suddenly, we both looked ahead and saw the sun rising. It was surreal and spectacular. Naturally, we had to pull over and take in the view:
God’s fingertip painted this spectacular moment to awaken the world to His Glory. To us, it was a remnder of who is in control of our lives and this world. It was as if God was saying, “The whole earth groans from sin, but this is still my world, and I’m painting that hope into this morning!”
While this was a moment in time in which we had to stop and take in the view, it reminded us also of those words in Romans chapter one: “For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because the thing which may be known of God is clearly revealed within them, for God revealed it to them. For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse” (Romans 1:18 – 20 emphases added).
The truth is, no matter how often, or how loudly someone proclaims there is no God, it is impossible to escape the fact He exists based on creation alone. Everything about the ordered world shouts His existence and His Glory. No matter how hard someone tries to “suppress the truth,” God shows up to prove them wrong.
Today, you can point someone to Jesus simply by talking about the sunrise or telling them about your recent visit to the beach, the mountains, or even the zoo! Remember, you are not the one who saves, you are the one who informs. The illustrations are all around us. Pick one and share the Good News with someone today!
Read Colossians chapter one and discover the Creator, then “proclaim Him!” (Col. 1:28)

I have never been able to understand how anyone can not believe there is GOD. He is all around us. The scenes we see, all the things that are provided for us without even asking. A new born baby or other acts where there is no answer for except

GOD provided them. What a terrible awaking these individuals will face when death comes to them and they are in torment.!Then it is too late to say I made a mistake.
